@femiredwood The only difference between then and now is the person posting wasn't aware of any of that going on. We all got the Internet so we could tell this dude the truth before he whitewashed it.
So my new band released some music today. I haven't done this for a minute but I think I just post this link and let you guys decide if you want to hear it or not, right? It's rock music. Hope you have an experience of some sort. https://t.co/KBaohmrxj1
them: "the perfect music to listen to at The Bronze in a velvet button-down shirt doesn't exist"
me: HAVE YOU LISTENTED TO THIS???
(long story short, stream Your Ex Is Here on Spotify to experience magic ok thanks 😊)

@Eve6 Huh? I don't see anything wrong with this. I think it's pretty damn good for what they're doing and has the spirit in a way that feels natural and isn't trying too hard. Avril Lavigne felt very much like a product—and I'm not complaining about that either. Different intentions.
@CailaTess Do you mean playing guitar /well/? Cuz in my world Dad guitar is campfire chords and still working on that Pink Floyd song every five months.
@annetokarski You can't go wrong with @MaintenancePod, from smart research to scintillating convo.
...and I make a wonderful pod called It's Generational, where we get four gens to talk about all sorts of stuff—from trauma to TV to making friends. https://t.co/99AzfpyIwm
