Anushka Sharma reportedly did not invite even her grandmother, uncle, or aunt to her wedding. They allegedly learned about the wedding through television news, only then realizing that their granddaughter and niece was getting married. Perhaps she felt embarrassed by her ordinary family members, which may be why only around 20 guests were invited.

Suresh Raina got married in 2015. The maternal uncle in whose lap he grew up was reportedly not invited to the wedding.
