I love visiting the admin building because there is always something I snap a picture of to show my 5th graders! This time it was the amazing Wrinkle in Time character stylings I saw. Some of my students were inspired and said they were going to try it for a book we are reading!

I am SO excited to be heading back down to 3rd grade! I swear I have teacher ADHD and get bored and want to move grades every 2-3 years 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yesterday, while teaching about splashdown, I realized that the astronauts on this mission were once kids learning about the Apollo missions. It made me think… there is a student in a classroom right now who is forming a dream that will one day make history in space.

Fun day in 5th!! My 67th day of attendance in a row and we started March Poetry Madness! It’s my first year doing March Poetry Madness but I’m so excited!

After a week of reading, synthesizing, and writing, we used @curipodofficial to get a quick snapshot of their opinions on the share portion of our workshop today! Interestingly enough, 5th grade thinks ocean exploration is the way to go!
