For Black History Month, students created Guess Who? clue wheels. They chose an influential Black figure and made 6 clues. After spinning the wheel to reveal the clues, they unveiled the person's identity, sharing their impact and achievements with the class. @NotreDameOCSB
To kick off our creative writing unit, students worked collaboratively to create short stories using 16 random emojis.
This assignment challenged students to develop narratives with deeper meaning and apply critical thinking to incorporate diverse elements into their writing. π
After reading William Sleatorβs βThe Elevator,β the grade 7s worked collaboratively to create body biographies for the storyβs main character, Martin. Students had the opportunity to bring out their creative sides! βπΌπ¨ @NotreDameOCSB

My grade 7 homeroom class got to join the grade 12 ENG4U class for the grammar olympics a couple weeks ago! My class was very fortunate to leave the class with new grammar knowledge and plenty of sugary treats from the kind grade 12s π @NotreDameOCSB
