Happy first day of our annual #AHL12Days! The admin team always finds joy sharing what we love about our #TrustyHuskies staff with the entire school-community the last 12 days before winter break.

With that being said, there’s no better way for me to kick off this celebratory season than with this picture of Ms. Dormann! It truly represents what it means to be dedicated not only to the profession but to every student. I am so incredibly grateful that this talented educator has found a home at AHL! #CPSbest

First grade had so much fun in math today! These #TrustyHuskies collaborated to compare their unifix cubes and got to write on their tables whether the sign should be >,< or =. In this activity they also worked together to figure out how much more the greater number was!

I’ve had 3 #TrustyHuskies write stories at home and ask if they can read them in front of the class! In my class, we will always make time to celebrate writing! 😊 Of course, we celebrate using an AVID cheer! #AHL_AVID #cpsbest
