There are many retirement perks such as an “occasional” nap. Even better is time to volunteer @diamondwildcats. Today, we served as grandparents for three kids whose grandparents could not come to the breakfast. We also visited Emilee’s classroom. Thanks @PSRSPEERS!
Honestly, this has been and will be a weird week. For the first time in 30 years, Stacie and I are not involved in Back-to-School teacher meetings. However, retirement gave us the opportunity to help Emilee organize her @diamondwildcats room. Mark the Monkey is reading to read!
Our 5 @MLB stadiums in 5 days tour is over. What a great time shared between grandpa, son, and grandson! We went to 3 new stadiums @Brewers was definitely our favorite-not even close. @Cubs #2 and @whitesox last. Although hard to admit, hearing @Cubs#GoCubsGo was a highlight.
Sorry @Cardinals but I enjoyed #Wrigley@Cubs.The #Wrigley nostalgia was cool but crowded. However, the crowd made experience better.Playoff game atmosphere!Very few fans left before last out.Although watching @Cubs win was sickening, hearing #GoCubsGo was cool!@whitesox tonight.
One year ago yesterday my dad had open heart surgery. Afterwards he told us he always wanted to go to #Wrigley@Cubs. Well today is the day! Remember not to take time with love ones for granted. Regardless at @Cubs or not - GO @Cardinals
Wow, walk off in 10th for @Brewers! Electric atmosphere for early August @MLB game. Our first trip to @Brewers - great stadium…very impressive…one of our favorites so far. Day 4 tomorrow at @cubs. Looking forward to first trip to #Wrigley
Day two of five game journey in the books after watching @Cardinals lose Friday. @UncleCharlie50 struggled some but he is still the man!Actually, outing could’ve been different if players got better steps and dove for balls! #FabulousBakerBoys are on the road to @Brewers today!
As we have done almost every year, enjoyed tonight celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at #redonioncafe. I am very blessed spending my life with Stacie.
How can a bird build a nest on the side of brick porch strong enough to hold five birds but I can’t hang a shelf without covering an extra hole I made!!
