I am often asked, "isn't there a chance Trump had some ideas or good intentions upon taking office?"

Answer: No - there is zero chance Trump had any relevant ideas or ambitions of his own coming into office.

Elected officials in the US hold zero power besides rubber stamping policy put in front of them, selling it to the public, and/or creating drama to distract public attention away from policies.

Trump was/is no exception.

This is why I correctly predicted even before his first term in office he was going to be 100% committed to continuity of agenda.
