@msgormley @A_Malakian I'm very confident in my reporting that one issue in picking the CAT winner was it ended up being a 2-horse race when there should have been 3 options. Running the CAT was SunGard's dream more than FIS at the time. That very much showed in its final proposal, or lack-thereof.

I just don't get cyclocross worlds in Fayetteville. I mean I get how much money the Waltons have and the entities that want a piece of it. But why bring worlds into an area with little culture for cross? If US gets worlds once a decade why not hold it someplace where cross rules?
