@jdfranksCU you taught my fiancé in ‘05 at Grimsley. Last night I was feeling the stress of finalizing our details and he had me stop and he played ‘Roll With It’ he proceeded to tell me his teacher once told him that song would help him get through life. Thx coach Franks.
@jdfranksCU Eric Johnson (My fiancé) has used the phrase “roll with it” consistently since I’ve known him! When the full story came out I knew we had to share! I’m a teacher and sometimes we forget how much of an impact we can make. He spoke fondly of you!
We discussed what TRUE compliments are. Then, each member of our classroom was tasked with writing a compliment for each person. For Valentine’s Day, they walked around and stuck their compliments to the recipient’s bag. All walked away with lots of kind words and sweets❤️
December 3rd is GivingTuesday! Please consider giving to my classroom project! All donations will be matched at least 50% !!! Please share! My Ss would love some new picture books!

One if my kiddos captured these moments: my friend was in tears bc his dad wasn't able to be a part of doughnuts with dads... So we ate jelly beans and cheese crackers on the floor instead #irvinignites#raisethebar@wmirvinelem
@laurenTarshis@laurenTarshis this kiddo rocked giving Birdie a voice. She gave the whole room chills. The kids wanted her to read her letter to you. Enjoy!
@laurenTarshis My kiddos and I just finished reading I Survived the Battle of Gettysburg 1863 in our Civil War unit.. I challenged them to write me a letter from the perspective one of the characters in the book...and WOW! Wait til you read their words!!! Chills!!!!
