Not sure how handicappers know more about my horse than I do but not only did he go off the favorite but Run for Gold backed them up by winning by over six lengths in the 9th @prmracing !
Race day: hopefully Run For Gold can keep the stable momentum going tonight. He’ll have to do it as a long shot but he’s coming off his best effort last time out so…
Looking forward to Sunday. Reuleaux will need her running shoes on to complete with this nice group of fillies which includes the half sister to grade 1 winner Nakatomi.
Nice to have the girls back from their six month Kentucky vacation. Stay Fabulous is in foal to @spendthriftfarm 2020 Horse Of The Year Authentic and Espiridion is in foal to Grade 1 winner Arabian Lion. 🤞
@TOBAhorses Thank you @TOBAhorses for organizing a wonderful two days. Thank you @Hinkle_Farms@HillnDaleFarm@roodandriddle and Hurstland Farm for sharing your time and knowledge with us. One commonality at each stop was the wonderful care that each of you provide to your horses.
This is as bad of news for our industry as we’ve had in a while.
A devastating blow, and most so a devastating situation for so many hard working, talented men and women both in front and behind the camera whose livelihoods are obviously greatly impacted.
This should break everyone’s heart that cares about our business and the people in it.
@neal_cfneal9 I can only hope. Actually MyRacehorse has followed up with me checking in on her and making sure she is taken care of after her racing career. I was pretty impressed that they were following up on a horse that they haven’t owned in years. Wish others would do the same.
Bitter sweet day as groom Armando Espinoza leads Stay Fabulous for the last time. She always looked the paddock winner and retiring injury free after 27 races over 4 years. I hope to send him one of her babies in a few years to receive the same excellent care.
Hard to believe it was over 14 years ago when we adopted Sadie. Sad to see it end today but we’ll always remember the good times. Picture from her first visit to the pond is still my favorite.
Congratulations to our senior XC runners for graduating today! We wish you God’s blessings as you start this new chapter in your life. What an amazing group!
