We had the most amazing and impactful safeguarding strategy day lead by the wonderful Sarah Bloomer. All our Headteachers and DSLs together, crafting what our vision and strategy will be. The alignment, positive ethos and expertise was a pleasure to be part of. Proud moment.

This week, I have enjoyed being able to hand out 'Shout outs for JOY' to many children who have brought JOY to our school community. Well done to those children who have demonstrated this value so well.

A truly wonderful start has been had at the start of the new school year here at Ursula Taylor C of E School. All of our children have come into school with smiles on their faces, full of enthusiasm and curiosity as they continue their learning journeys. Congratulations to our new House and Deputy House Captains- we are looking forward to a great year ahead where all will flourish and achieve successes.

Yesterday we were joined by members of the Royal British Legion, Clapham to commemorate D-Day's 80th Anniversary. The House and Vice House Captains then attended a short service with the Royal British Legion, Clapham. A really special time for us all.

Bags of donations of unwanted clothing/shoes were collected today by 'Recycle with Michael'. A great way to help raise funds for charity and show how ' we are keen to be green!'

Our Eco Warriors have written UT's new Eco Code. Every class now has one to display and our Eco Warriors will be helping us to remember how to follow the code. 'Recycle with Michael' bags are going home today too. We are keen to be green!

7 boxes of goods were donated to the Food Bank this morning. The donations were gratefully received and will go towards helping people throughout the Bedford community. As always, we continue to see our Ursula Taylor family sharing their kindness and generosity with others.
