🐐 The Argentine superstar receives the 2026 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports at the Campoamor Theater, with the King and Queen of Spain present.
Mr. AURA, has there ever been any footballers in the world, dead or alive, who has been this respected inside or outside the pitch?
I think it's only Dr. Leo Messi 🔥👑

Toto Wolff credits Lewis Hamilton with teaching him that leaders are not the end product, and says that if you actively seek to change a wrong way of acting, you will change
“It’s something I learned from Lewis Hamilton, our driver. He has such a sense for perfection in a way that there is a constant feedback loop within him. How can I improve? Every single day."
"And we know that you can never achieve perfection because also your targets change. But he’s an adult, and he’s taught me that contrary to what we think, we are not the end product."
"We think, okay, we have strengths and weaknesses. We have our personality. This is how we act. We are either tyrants in our organization, or we have an embracing kind of style."
"And he taught me that if you realize that you have taken the wrong decisions or maybe that you have acted in the wrong way, change. And if you’re actively seeking to change, you will change. So when it comes to the leadership style, the adaptability is a moment where I had to change.”
Trevor Noah is the greatest export we ever made, just listen to how he answered the “White Genocide” question on this interview, such a true patriot of the country. 🙌🏾🇿🇦.

@dumisani_thwala The differences in the system capabilities must be considered. With the IEC case, which they conceded that the information is with them, but couldn’t accept it. In other systems ‘submit’ maybe the only way the other side can get hold of your information.
The IEC appears to limit the system's capabilities and design solely to gain a technical advantage in this argument. The system is designed to upload and save regulated files and documents. Critically, uploads do not remain mere "drafts" once the deadline passes; instead, whatever has been uploaded and remains available on the system becomes the final submission. Finality is achieved either by pressing the final submission button or automatically upon the passing of the deadline, unless the IEC can prove that the ANCintended to withdraw or alter the list post-deadline. Furthermore, the system functions as a platform for uploading and saving documents rather than an email system that confirms transactions or transmissions. Consequently, uploaded files cannot be treated as invisible "drafts" that the other admin cannot see simply because the final submission button was not pressed.

On behalf of the government and people of South Africa, I offer warm congratulations to His Excellency President @PaulKagame and the government and people of Rwanda on securing a 10-year agreement to host the Formula 1 African Grand Prix.
South Africa shares in the pride with which Rwanda is preparing to fly the chequered flag for our continent with the hosting of a globally prestigious event at the planned Bugesera circuit from the early 2030s.
This contract is a recognition of the capabilities of the Rwandan nation and of our continent more broadly.
As host of the first Grand Prix on African soil in 1993, and organiser of other major global events, South Africa will be happy to provide any support we may be invited to share.
The F1 African Grand Prix is another lustrous addition to Rwanda’s growing collection of top international events, including the UCI-classified Tour du Rwanda cycling race.
Congratulations, Rwanda.
You are in pole position to make all of Africa proud and take motorsport to new heights.
Paul Kagame can be compared with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the father of Turkey and Lee Kuan Yew father of Singapore, particularly as a leader who sought to transform a traumatised or vulnerable country through strong centralised government, national discipline and economic modernisation.
