WASHINGTON—A Senate panel investigating Dr. Anthony Fauci has obtained a copy of the doctor’s iPhone, potentially securing even more records related to the doctor’s actions during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The copy of the phone was transferred by the Department of Health and Human Services to the Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which is chaired by Sen. Ron Johnson

I cannot stress this enough:

If you have designated yourself as an organ donor on your drivers license, remove it now.

Your family has ZERO ability to override that designation. If the organ donation team designates you as a candidate for donation, your medical team is removed from dictating your care and the organ donation team takes over.

There have been numerous cases like the one mentioned here.

I have personally witnessed people BEGGING for their loved one to not be made an organ donor, but if you checked that box on your drivers license, that’s all it takes. You have consented and give up any right to retract.

I was at an airport at six in the morning and several hundred strangers were standing at a gate applauding.

The flight was not delayed. Nobody had been rescued. An aircraft had landed carrying eighty-four veterans, most of them over eighty, several in wheelchairs, returning from a single day in Washington.

The trip costs them nothing. It is paid for by donations. The people who push the wheelchairs pay their own way to be there, which I confirmed twice because I assumed I had misunderstood.

I asked a woman holding a sign who she was there for.

She said, "My dad's flight was in 2016."

I asked whether her father was on this one.

She said, "He died in 2019. I just come."

She just comes. She has come to eleven of them.

Here is the part I was not prepared for, and I was told about it afterward by a man who had been on the plane.

On the flight home they perform mail call. Somebody reads names, exactly the way it was done to these men when they were nineteen, and each of them is handed a bundle of letters. The letters are from their families and from schoolchildren who have never met them. They are collected in advance and kept from the men until the aircraft is in the air.

I asked him what was in his.

He said, "My granddaughter."

I asked what she wrote.

He said, "I'm not going to be able to tell you that."

I said that a nation which returns to a man, sixty years afterward, the exact ceremony it used to hand him his letters when he was a boy in a foreign country, and does it in the air, where he cannot leave and does not have to explain his face to anyone, has understood something about dignity that I have not found written down anywhere.

He said, "It's a good trip."

They came through the gate one at a time. Several hundred people applauded each one individually, and did not get tired, and did not speed up.

One man raised his hand as he passed. He did not wave it. He held it up.

He is ninety-six. Somebody in the crowd said his name.

Man who police say k*lled his father over dishes and WAS RELEASED is accused of torching 700 homes in Spokane.

Police say Aaron Farinacci, 37, shot his father d*ad in Mesa, Arizona in 2010 after an argument about washing the dishes.

He pointed the gun at his mother, then shot himself and survived. Charged with first-degree m*urder, he pleaded guilty to mansl*ughter and was eventually released.

This week investigators arrested him for first-degree arson in the Old Trails Fire north of Spokane, Washington. The blaze destroyed around 700 structures, most of them homes, and forced as many as 65,000 people to evacuate.

Authorities say it was intentionally set. Farinacci was found with waterproof matches and a butane lighter. Witnesses reported a nervous man kneeling in the grass at the exact origin point.

On the day the fire started, police stopped him about a mile away, questioned him, and let him go so they could focus on the emergency.

The sheriff noted prior contacts for arson-related behavior. Prosecutors credit “vigilant citizens” who refused to stay silent for cracking the case. He is held on $1 million bond.

A man who allegedly m*rdered his own father over chores walked free long enough to leave hundreds of families staring at ashes.

UPDATE: The U.S. Department of Homeland Security says ICE has lodged an immigration detainer for the man charged in the fatal shooting of 71-year-old Army and Air Force veteran James "Randy" Witten in West Point.

According to DHS, Axel Eduardo Chavez-Marroquin, an El Salvador native, previously entered the U.S. illegally in 2021 and was later arrested twice in California on domestic violence cases. DHS says ICE requested both times that he be held, but California authorities released him.

“This monster is charged with murdering a 71-year-old Army and Air Force veteran in Utah. California sanctuary politicians RELEASED this criminal from jail TWICE after arrests for domestic violence. Following his release, he went on to commit this heinous murder,” said Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

“This illegal alien should’ve never been allowed on our streets, and James Witten should still be alive today. ICE is now asking officials in Utah to commit to not releasing this criminal from jail and to work with ICE so that we can remove him from our country. Reckless sanctuary policies in states like California are putting American lives at risk.”

Chavez-Marroquin was arrested June 16 in Las Vegas and extradited to Utah, where he is charged with murder and other felonies in Witten's May 30 killing. Court documents allege a Ring doorbell camera captured the targeted shooting as Witten was hanging a decoration on his front porch.

A second suspect, Abner Aroldo Avila, 21, has also been arrested in California and is awaiting extradition to Utah.

A SpaceX intern once described eating lunch next to Elon Musk in the company cafeteria.

The intern said Elon sat down at a regular table with a regular tray of food. No entourage. No reserved section. He sat next to two junior engineers who were clearly terrified. One of them was explaining a problem with a valve component to the other.

Elon listened without introducing himself or interrupting. After about three minutes he turned to the engineer and said "have you tried running it at a lower pressure gradient first." The engineer stared at him. Then realized the CEO of the company had just casually solved a problem his team had been stuck on for a week.

The intern said what happened next was the part that surprised him. Elon didn't leave. Didn't check his phone. He spent the next twenty minutes asking the engineers questions about their work. Not CEO questions about timelines and budgets. Engineering questions about fluid dynamics and material stress tolerances. He was genuinely curious. The cafeteria conversation was indistinguishable from a technical review.

The intern said he understood in that moment why people work 80-hour weeks for this man. Not because he's inspiring. Not because he pays well. Because he's the only CEO in the world who sits in the cafeteria and solves your engineering problem between bites of a burrito.

People follow leaders who are above them. People worship leaders who sit next to them and prove they understand the work better than the people doing it.
