@overthenonsense@Scott_Wiener@senatormelendez That statement is misleading, the bill extends already existing judiciary discretion to other forms of sex. Judges have had this discretion since 1944.
@HeatherLWR9@Scott_Wiener@senatormelendez Under CA law before SB145, your 18-year-old son could be excused from the sex registry by a judge if caught poking his 17-year old girlfriend. But the judge would have no discretion if he was poking his 17-year-old *boyfriend*. Protect your son, support SB145.
@MandyDelRio@senatormelendez You're missing that SB145 references other sections of the California penal code where the offenses are further detailed, including penalties for offenses on victims young and older than 14. See for example Section 286 https://t.co/SXP7QoADhj
@OVN@CdeP Same thing happened last year with boys (indoor) vball at OVS, now in our second year of league play. Volleyball is growing in the valley! ππ
If anyone wants to know what's going on inside my head while I'm teaching, I'm basically always telling myself "Give them more time to think, give them more time to think, give them more time to think, give them more time to think, give them more time to think, give them mor..."
@helenrey@fnoschese I taught at an IB school in Shanghai that had a lab technician and he was a godsend. Even built us a model electrostatic smokestack scrubber that cleaned particles from candle smoke, it was amazing.
@OVN@NordhoffSports It was a great game, Nordhoff definitely had more opportunities to score, deserved the win. It's a shame that the penalties went the way they did.
@OVN Hmm, let me check... Answer is "no"! This headline is just a way for you to make a statement without being accountable for whether it is correct or not. Do better, OVN. https://t.co/Dlf1qPKHHC
