Teachers, I'm so proud to share https://t.co/7Uw6RIFhaW to help you & your ss during this challenging time. It's a FREE hub of learning journeys across the content areas, K-8. Kids can do on their own, w/ you, or w/ families. We'll be adding more in the coming days! #learnathome
@MsRawlings_ @EY_uwindsor I enjoy using the online resources available on the @TpTdotcom website! However, it is important to tailor the resources to the students specific needs in your classroom! I also find it beneficial to simply chat with other educators in my school and share ideas ✨
Environment plays a critical role in learning🌳 On the playground, this SK experimented with reflection!☀️ “The sun reflects off it. I point it to the ground and it reflects. It makes the wood chips yellow” @MrsMAlford@PrinceEdwardPS@gecdsbpro @EY_uwindsor #EY_uwindsor
Democracy and autonomy at the JK/SK level🙌 Kudos to @MrsMAlford for turning movie selection into an educational activity!🎬 Students were asked “which movie has more votes?” and “how do you know?”, to incorporate numeracy! #EY_uwindsor @EY_uwindsor @gecdsbpro@PrinceEdwardPS
WINDSOR AREA! We are holding a bottle drive to raise funds for @EY_uwindsor 's learning carousel! We are looking for alcoholic bottle and can donations. Email the attached address to arrange pickup on campus! #EYUwindsor#bottledrEYve
Had fun today learning about the updated Canada Food Guide in Health class. Students were encouraged to be creative and draw their favourite healthy foods! Half vegetables, quarter grains and quarter protein. #grade3S@talbot_trailps
A great technology class with @joe_sisco today! Blackboard Collaborate and our twitter party was a great experience. A great way to connect and share with other teacher candidates, so many great ideas❄️☃️#fakesnowdayuw
@joe_sisco Instagram can be used in the same ways as twitter. Students can connect to others around the world using hashtags and presenting their work in picture/caption format.
@joe_sisco Educators could use this account to notify parents and other faculty members on what is happening in the classroom, information on homework, upcoming events, etc. The teacher could also use it as a tool to share student work or even create a project based around Twitter.
@joe_sisco I believe it would help students navigate through twitter safely. It could be a used as a tool for learning the risks and safety precautions that can be taken on the Internet. #fakesnowdayuw
