Oh my, this speaks to me so deeply.
In 1996 I was in bad shape. A complete physical and emotional breakdown after years of trauma. Spiritually barren. Drug addicted. Trying to escape.
Jesus came into my life.
An Epiphany.
A miraculous healing journey began.

Alexander Zverev winning #RolandGarros without facing a single top 10 player is a hollow victory but apparently his only path to become a grand slam champion. Terribly unlikeable fellow who could brush the ridiculous mop of hair and shave before big matches. @AlexZverev
From producing wagon wheels to quality automobiles, Pa Studebaker imparted a moral code to his sons Henry and Clement Studebaker in 1852 South Bend, Indiana:
Always give more than you promise.
It’s a sound business principle sadly lacking today in many merchants. #sales#cars
@celinedion Beauty and the Beast is such a beautiful duet. It’s become a genuine classic beyond the Disney origins.
I first discovered Peabo Bryson with the divine Roberta Flack in 1980. Attended a memorable Palais Theatre concert in 1983 with Roberta performing songs from their album. 🎶💝
@mikemoviez Fannie Hurst’s 1933 novel was successfully filmed with Claudette Colbert in 1934. The definitive highlight of the 1959 remake is the emotionally charged mother-daughter relationship between Juanita Moore and Susan Kohner. It’s well scripted and genuinely tugs at the heartstrings.
@Old_SchoolEddie I didn’t watch. I may have heard our parents speaking of it, but definitely remember Grade 1 teacher Miss Toogood discussing it in class, and being completely bewildered how it was possible to walk on the moon. I was a sheltered 6 year old.
What I most remember is the song. 🇦🇺🎶
@ThatEricAlper The skill of being still inside and out, to purposely pause and reflect before speaking or reacting, especially in difficult situations.
@JJ_McCullough I worked for The Salvation Army 2003-2005 in aged care nursing, assisting management and Chaplains. The local chapel was onsite; I worshipped and ministered alongside the Majors. The logo summarises their faith: Blood of the Lamb and Fire of the Holy Spirit. God bless the Salvos.
@joshwhitlatch If you think you lose Salvation by a specific sin, were you ever saved?
Jesus said the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Once saved, to deny the existence and power of the Holy Spirit is unpardonable. Sowing discord among the brethren is an abomination.
@Truth_matters20 Absurd to think every word of God is contained in the Word of God. You may as well try to find a particular grain of sand on the beach.
@DrFrankTurek Christianity began before the birth of Jesus the Christ.
God’s plan of salvation began before the creation of the world; was first revealed after The Fall to the serpent in Genesis 3:15.
2 Timothy 1:9 and Revelation 13:8 confirm the plan was established before time began.
@ColinSpenc4257 Central heating? Never had it. Our heaters were fuelled by coal briquettes. We moved into our first house with a gas heater in 1972. I’m 63 and finally have a split system in the bedroom. 🍁❄️🏡
@spriteous@rabbriansamuel It’s perhaps more correct to think of Jesus as being born a Jew. He was (is) first and above all the Son of God, so nothing about our Lord is perplexing, it’s wondrous.
