This is a great video about wealth inequality in the USA, it's a wonderful explainer that's still extremely relevant.
The problem is, it's using figures from 13-15 years ago. The problems addressed in this video have gotten DRASTICALLY worse since this was made. Just over the pandemic alone we had the largest transfer of wealth ever recorded from the working class to the upper 1%

My short answer overall: Yes ... Celebrate a time to be thankful, with friends, with family, and with loved ones. But don't celebrate a false history, created just because you couldn't be trusted with the truth. You are smarter than historians gave you credit for.
Even the statement, “Let’s invite more Black people to the table,” implies ownership of the table and control of who is invited.
