This weekend! My friend and I have been working super hard on this! If you’d like to see what I’ve been working on for the past year, come on down and enjoy the show!
Haven’t seen my students due to their spring break, but I planned out the date for my second observation! It’s all winding down! Hoping to get back this week and see them again! Miss my students :) #EDU310
@amyyydonaldson Nothing wrong with a fresh start! I feel like we all needed that refresh once we all got back from spring break!! Happy you got to experience that with the students though!
Last week was my first observation and it went extremely well! What I prepared got mixed up and most of it was completely off the cuff. It was all smooth sailing. I’m glad it’s done so I can focus on the next one. I can’t wait to see my kids again two weeks from now :) #EDU310
@maryemsjournal That’s really exciting that you got to go so much and see your students!! I’m sure they loved seeing you and I’m happy you can now enjoy your break :)
Last Friday before break, I went and discussed my first observation with mentor teacher! Hoping to do a whole class mini lesson with some small group work afterwords. Still pretty nervous about it :’) #EDU310
I didn’t get to see my students this week due to conferences BUT I’m setting up my observations! Super nervous but sorta excited at the same time… hopefully it goes well! :) #EDU310
Today @TeacherFitz28 and I went on a field trip with our kids (our mentor teachers are besties) Although the trip was short- we had a great time! Strange feeling leading a group during instead of being the field trip participant #EDU310
Some pics at the museum we went to ⬇️
@maryemsjournal That’s real exciting that you got some experience with helping the students though! I know it totally doesn’t feel like it but… we ARE real teachers now :))
Soo this week was a short time with my students but… tomorrow I’ll be spending most of the day with them! One of my students was so excited to show me her viola skills and I was very impressed! I can’t wait to see how tomorrow goes

I met my mentor teacher AND some of my students on Friday! I can’t wait to really dive into lessons with the kiddos next week. My mentor even gave me their lessons for the next week so I can prepare.
Side note: my mentor teacher has the cutest hamster :)
@TeacherFitz28 I love this idea!! I actually remember doing something similar with Africa in my high school back home. It’s wild how there are so many different ways to teach the same subject material
I’m super hyped to start my new chapter in my educational journey! From 9th graders in my previous placement to 6th graders… it’ll definitely be a challenge but a good one at that.
I’m totally not nervous at allllll #EDU310
