The strategy is called SEEI (state, elaborate, exemplify, and illustrate) that I learned from @JulieHStern at the @IBMidAtlantic conference! It was a great way for my students to use their knowledge gained from the @2ndStepProgram and personalize their learning!

Writers and researchers at work! Students spent the afternoon discovering strong story leads from books in our classroom library to incorporate into their own personal narrative essays! @SouthgateTigers
