A todos los argentinos les pido disculpas de corazón. Sé lo mucho que significaba este partido para todos. Dejé absolutamente todo en la cancha y jamás tuve la intención de dejar al equipo con diez jugadores.

Al mismo tiempo, sinceramente creo que no recibimos un trato justo. Cada uno podrá juzgar la jugada por su cuenta, pero desde mi punto de vista, el castigo no estuvo a la altura de la acción. Así es el fútbol, y a veces estas cosas juegan en tu contra.

A pesar de la decepción, estoy inmensamente orgulloso de este equipo. Peleamos cada pelota, representamos a nuestro país con pasión y nunca dejamos de creer. Un resultado no borra todo el camino que recorrimos juntos.
