No matter how nice you are, you’re going to encounter people who are hard to get along with. How you handle difficult people will determine how high you will go.
Life will try to push you down; thoughts will whisper everything you’re not. That’s okay. You’re not running someone else's race. You don’t need what they have. If you needed it, God would have given it to you.
You have an assignment. There’s a calling on your life, something God has destined you to accomplish. He didn’t put you here to just take up space and hopefully make it through. He created you to leave your mark, to set a new standard for your family. He’s put greatness in you.
Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. It’s about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future. As we mark 100 years of celebrating Black history, let’s honor the sacrifices of the leaders who came before us, and recommit ourselves to continuing their work.
The Kennedy Center was named after my uncle, President John F Kennedy. It was named in his honor. He was a man who was interested in the arts, interested in culture, interested in education, language, history. He brought the arts into the White House, and he and my Aunt Jackie amplified the arts, celebrated the arts, stood up for the arts and artists.
It is beyond comprehension that this sitting president has sought to rename this great memorial dedicated to President Kennedy. It is beyond wild that he would think adding his name in front of President Kennedy’s name is acceptable. It is not.
Next thing perhaps he will want to rename JFK Airport, rename the Lincoln Memorial, the Trump Lincoln Memorial. The Trump Jefferson Memorial. The Trump Smithsonian. The list goes on.
Can we not see what is happening here? C’mon, my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny. This is way beneath the stature of the job. It’s downright weird. It’s obsessive in a weird way. Just when you think somone can’t stoop any lower, down they go…
If you sow ordinary, do only what’s required, then you’ll see ordinary. But when you look for opportunities to be a blessing, do more than what’s expected, you are setting yourself up for God to show out in your life and open doors you couldn’t open.
We can't allow ourselves to become numb to mass shootings. What happened today in Minneapolis is heartbreaking, and Michelle and I are praying for the parents who have lost a child or will be sitting at their hospital bedside after yet another act of unspeakable, unnecessary violence.
Know that God has your best interests at heart and His plans for you are absolutely greater than any sacrifice you have to make to walk it out. Pray for God to help you trust Him and follow Him in all you do, one step at a time! #JoyceQuote
You won't always be in the background. Keep being faithful and your time is coming. God is going to take you from the background to the foreground. It’s going to happen suddenly.
There are these times where you think you’re just going to work, you’re just running an errand, just taking care of the kids, just going to church. But what you don’t realize is that it’s a sovereign moment. It’s a moment that God has strategically orchestrated to put you at the right place at the right time, to meet the right people. It’s the sovereignty of God.
You haven’t seen your best days. The enemy wouldn’t be fighting you if he didn’t know something awesome was in store. That’s why he’s trying to limit your vision, so that you don’t see the amazing future ahead.
When God breathes on your life, you will accomplish things that seem impossible, you’ll outlast opposition that should have overwhelmed you, you’ll discover talent and ability that you didn’t know you had.
God sees what you’ve lost, who wasn’t for you, what wasn’t fair. He knows what’s happening. If you’ll move forward in faith, the right people will come looking for you, opportunity will track you down.
Just remember, we don’t care what Donald Trump. He is white premises, allies due to DEI.. we remember, and we know the sacrifice that black Americans made towards this country. welcome to blackish Tremont 2025.#BlackTwitter .#BlackHistoryMonth2025 .
