One of my all time favorite lessons that my students absolutely love! They mapped points on a map, measured the lengths and angles of triangles, then classified them to find a missing cruise ship out at sea! Thanks @AngelaRyan_VB for creating the amazing resource for us!
On 2 hour delays, kids arenβt served breakfast because the cafeteria is serving lunch. We know many of our kids rely on this breakfast, so our team got them a little something to make sure none of our students are hungry when they get to school this morning. #itsmorethanteaching
On Friday, we acted out how sound energy travels through solids, liquids, and gases. Contrary to our hypotheses, we were able to observe and draw the conclusion that sound travels fastest through solids because the molecules are closest together!
It is so awesome attending a national conference with so many instructional leaders. Hold on to your seats @vbschools as we will be returning with a tidal wave of new knowledge fresh from #FETC to help transform learning in your classrooms & across the division! #VBFETC#vbits
Students were engaged, working together, and applying their knowledge about triangles to a real world activity trying to find the the cruise ship that was shipwrecked somewhere out at sea! π³πβ @AngelaRyan_VB
