Suggestions for a 2P book...I have only 11 kids (currently) and my other units are media based, looking at mood and tone. I tried choice in novels semester 1 with a similar group and it fell flat so going back to a group novel but going to have assignment choice.
@JasonHimsl @ForestofReading I'll look at them! I used to, then for awhile I did them in 3C as well so sometimes it felt very repetitive but I am open to options.
Once upon a time, America banned Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs because they believed the little toy inside could be hazardous to children. A ban that still exists today.

Can't help but notice how the "pro-life" crowd is more interested in protecting children before they are born but is less interested in protecting children after they are born from gun violence. Nope. That's not "pro-life". That's despicable. #GunControlNow
Becoming a parent means I have no idea what is happening in the news, haven't read a book in 3 weeks but my Amazon orders have increased 10x and I just purchased a vacuum as a "treat" (except when do I have time to vacuum with a 3 week old?).
The sad irony: The "freedom" convoy actually had a lot of freedom...To travel across the country. To honk their horns all day & night. To party in hot tubs. To occupy Ottawa for 3 straight weeks.
Privilege is having freedom & having no clue that you have it.
Cleaning TikTok is so much fun to watch until you realize you're the adult that has to clean your own home and that at 8 months pregnant it takes several hours (and cookie breaks).
