The students at Mary Shadd are loving our library activities! Engaging our students with school-wide collaborative activities and games to build their love for literacy. ❤️ @TDSB_MSPS
Happy first day of school! 🥳 Thrilled to be starting my first year as a permanent teacher with the amazing staff and students @TDSB_MSPS and @EdgewoodPS_TDSB! ❤️ Looking forward to a wonderful year!
The Gr 3/4s did wonderfully working together on their group math challenge! Building thinking & collaboration using parts of the BTC framework: randomized groups, "vertical" Jamboard, and reframing of tasks as 🔥 spiciness 🔥 level rather than difficulty. @TDSB_ConEd@pgliljedahl
S and I finished working on her self-portrait for her Gr 6 graduation! We use hand-over-hand assistance for our students with limited mobility so they feel involved and a sense of ownership over their art pieces. 😊 @Glamorganjrps#ISP103
Engaging our ISP student using her favourite toy (she loves the quacking!) on TD Snap. The eventual goal is that she will use it to communicate words, but for now we are starting w/ simply understanding that she can use her eye gaze to activate a response! @Glamorganjrps
Enjoyed Indigenous Paint Night with @ms_amandalau, learning about Woodland Art and the 7 Grandfather Teachings from @patrickHUNTER88! Thank you Patrick and @ETFOeducators for the fun and informative workshop! 🪶🧡
ISP 103's new sensory board is complete! 🤲🏽 We love playing with our new board for many reasons, such as helping our students develop their tactile senses through exploring new sensations & giving students new vocabulary by helping them feel & naming new textures! @Glamorganjrps
ISP Rm 103 LOVES circle time! Though our students are non-verbal, it is still important they have agency & voice - just communicated differently! We are learning to blink using our 123 choice board to pick songs & clicking w/ hand-over-hand support to start videos! @Glamorganjrps
