Husband and wife, Muhammad and ‘Abir Jaber, were on their way to get groceries in the neighborhood of Jabal Johar in Hebron when they were attacked by soldiers who hurled a stun grenade into their car.
"I heard my wife shout, “Grenade! Grenade!” I turned my head to see what she meant, and the grenade exploded right by my face. I felt something hit the back of my head, and then I passed out."

#Iran: "Execution, long jail terms and big fines for 'promoting' nudity, unveiling or improper dressing come into force"
Seriously?
Any penalty for completely invented "crimes" involving "bad dressing" are abusively absurd, but the death penalty??

First photo of Iranian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Narges Mohammadi following her release from prison on medical leave. She’s holding a photo of Masa Amini while saying no to “gender apartheid.”
For over a year, Israel has been waging an unrestrained war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and within the State of Israel. The indiscriminate violence that has always marked the Israeli apartheid regime’s approach to Palestinians living in the area under its control is now appearing in its most direct and exposed form.
While Israel wreaked death and destruction on Gaza in unimaginable proportions, a record number of Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the West Bank in 2024, and the number of detentions and administrative detainees also reached a historic high. Since the war began, many attacks on Palestinians by soldiers and settlers have been documented throughout the West Bank. These attacks are aimed at Palestinians suspected of no wrongdoing and are often carried out in plain sight, in full view of officers and commanders.
The rise in both scale and frequency of such attacks, while law enforcement regarding injury to Palestinians and their property is virtually nonexistent, indicates that these are not isolated incidents. They are the outcome of an explicit, deliberate and systemic policy to further the oppression of the entire civilian Palestinian population.
The scope of violence against innocent Palestinians, revealed in testimonies in our latest report, “Unleashed,” is a case in point. This reality leaves Palestinians with two options: uproot themselves from their homes, land and communities, or live in constant fear of violence.
