Ms. Brennan’s class used their describing words and all of their senses to tell us all about the weather today! The first snow and Halloween?! Best day ever!!!! @PHSD23
Mrs. Vasilakos’s class made their own tool boxes of regulation strategies they can use in the classroom while playing a fun spinner game! Awesome job everyone! #Proud2BD23 @D23Ross @PHSD23
2023 Youth Activation BootCAMP (we are in the woods this year) is off to a wonderful start with friendship, s’mores, kickball, tie dye and much much more! Excited for a weekend of inclusion, respect and more! @D23MacArthur@PHSD23
How can you make eggs glow and bounce?? Ask our scientists! Students loved exploring and asking questions about these eggs transformations… EVEN in the summer! @PHSD23
Students were invited to attend the Inclusive Youth Leadership training this weekend!! They learned how to lead with inclusion and respect! So proud of these leaders! @D23MacArthur@PHSD23
D23 did an amazing job at todays Regional Special Olympics Track and Field Event! Though the weather had a mind of its, the pride, passion , love, and joy that the families, staff and athletes had shown so brightly! We ended with three silver medals! @PHSD23#proud2BD23
Who knew a cup of hot cocoa could make you cry? So proud of one of my friends for taking on the challenge of my dollar bill. She exchanged that dollar and gave me correct change, INDEPENDENTLY. Great things happen everyday thanks to @mslynchmac and her team. #MAChasPRIDE
Fun Friday morning work consisted of writing our vocabulary words in “snow” (shaving cream) and writing sentences with them from Call of the Wild! @BuildingWingsCo @DonJohnstonInc @D23MacArthur
2023 Reading Iditarod was a success! To review chapters 1-4 in @BuildingWingsCo Call of the Wild, students pulled sleds of cargo to each question station and answered a review ?. They could get help from a friend by pulling them to their station! @D23MacArthur @DonJohnstonInc
A #SuperBowl fan favorite - football catapult! We used lots of skills to adjust the catapult for force and direction to score a field goal. But the best part is always trying to catch the marshmallow football in our mouth…even @mslynchmac joined in! #Proud2bD23
We love singing and dancing on our breaks! Though we probably need @MsMurrayMac to come help me record the switches for singing (ignore my singing :) )!
We had such an amazing trip to Sky Centers Martial Arts! Students worked on self-esteem, confidence, self-defense, being active and most of all, having fun!We will definitely be coming back, Master Sky was incredible and made today truly unforgettable! @Cnolfi29@D23MacArthur
