Friends,
Let's grieve all we need. Grieve for this country and what we thought it stood for; grieve for humanity and how easily seduced we are by bigotry, xenophobia, and a hunger to hurt; grieve for God, in whose very Name so many have embraced depravity.

💥Opposition Leader Yair Lapid: "They were just alive! Netanyahu and his cabinet of death chose not to rescue the hostages. I call on the Histadrut Labor union, large businesses and local authorities to shut down the economy."
This warms my heart so much. EW is an inspiration and a hero to so many progressive dems, especially nerd girls like me. America may not have been ready to make her President, but we've all benefitted from Warren's leadership, vision, and courage.
a politician who has consistently put the people first and has been often overlooked finally getting her flowers in this moment, she deserves the world 💙
I just have to say. The highlight of the night for me personally was watching @ewarren witness firsthand the outpouring of love for her that so many of us feel and have felt for a long time.
She is so deserving. She is forever my inspiration and hero. 💙
I appreciate folks taking up for Tim Walz's son, but be careful. It's not OK that he cried because "sure he's a guy but he's also neuro-atypical." It's OK that he cried bc it's OK for guys to cry, period. Normal people do it. Healthy people do it. Men who don't are the problem
From last night’s remarkable speech at the DNC by Jon and Rachel Goldberg-Polin, the parents of American-Israeli hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin, we were struck by their powerful message.
Despite the intense pain of their son’s 320 days in Hamas captivity, they expressed sincere sympathy for the suffering of the Gazan people.
As Palestinians, we sincerely appreciate their compassion during such a difficult time. Their empathy, even in the midst of personal tragedy, reminds us of our shared humanity.
We stand united in hoping for the swift release of Hersh and all the hostages, and an end to the suffering of innocent civilians in Gaza.
