Today in HRT3M we had our Islam symposium. Students come to class with food and drinks and share a meal together while having meaningful discussion about their learning on Islam, and authentic interreligious dialogue. Our room was buzzing with meaningful exchanges.

@simcoegirl67 @munakadri @yorkprideca Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the Ramadan-the holy month of fasting, reflection and dedication to Allah. For some Muslims this can be their own jihad (struggle) as it can be hard to fast, pray etc. So, at the end of it, breaking the fast is a celebration.
