Perfect example of assessment as learning! Today we peer assessed each other’s CCAP assignment and provided constructive feedback! Super thankful for my classmates help and feedback😊 @kmcevoy50@CSHUOttawa@uOttawaBEd
Wrapping my head around rubric writing and the difference between assessment and evaluation. Understanding holistic and analytic rubrics have been key to my learning! @CSHUOttawa@kmcevoy50@uOttawaBEd
Our grade 2’s at #ViscountAlexanderPublic explored math in a hands on way. We analyzed Patterning and Sorting by using something we wear everyday - our shoes! The students were so excited and engaged😊
Today in 3141 we explored UDL and DI. I have learned how important differentiation is in the classroom to ensure all students have entry points to the lessons. “It’s not meant to make more work for teachers, it’s a way of thinking”. @CSHUOttawa@kmcevoy50@uOttawaBEd
Engaged in a wonderful class with @kmcevoy50 that exposed me to so many technological tools to use with my future students. I learned the SAMR categories which has helped me understand what an effective and purposeful tech tool is! @CSHUOttawa@uOttawaEdu
Feeling challenged by unit planning today! I’m excited to dive into this topic and become comfortable with it! Shoutout to @kmcevoy50 for running such a wonderful class for our cohort! #weloveyoukaren@uOttawaEdu@CSHUOttawa
I feel so much more confident in my understanding of assessment for/of/as learning. I am realizing how dedicated teachers are to their long range, unit and lesson plans through backward design. Lots of work ahead but excited to start! @CSHUOttawa@kmcevoy50@uOttawaEdu
