@socialstudiestx You guessed it! Just Virginia ham on a buttery biscuit. Works for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The ham is really salty, so I think it tastes better in a biscuit.
@MelMollick @kilmercougars Thank you so much! I was bummed I couldn't make it to the kickoff. Looked like so much fun, but I hope to meet everyone soon :)
After the phone call with HR, I can officially announce that I will be the new SBTS @kilmercougars for this upcoming year! I am so excited to join the #fcpssbts community and the amazing staff at Kilmer MS.
@HistoryFrog I love this idea. I used to do artifact bags with items students bring from home, but I think this is more equitable and connects students with the content!
It has been one week since Vincent officially joined the family- one day short of Mother’s Day (talk about the best gift ever!!!) This little butterball has stolen our hearts already. We are adjusting to life as a family of 3 and enjoying every minute of it.
When your nephew turns one ☝️ and has a “Where the Wild Things Are” party, you of course have to make him a monster cake. Can’t wait for him to smash into this later 👑 #wildONE
I know many of my friends think teaching middle schoolers must be especially tough, but sometimes they show you how thoughtful and kind they can be! 😭 💙
Can’t believe my hubby made it on CNBC! Check him out if you or anyone you know are looking for help with investments or financial planning @CNBCnow@sarahtgobrien

So proud of our #AspiringSBTS for your incredible reflections, portfolios, and celebrations of learning during our final class. You all are an inspiration...we've learned so much from you! You GOT this! #SBTSArmy#fcpssbts@jasoncovey @MelMollick
SO excited for my students to journey through Ellis Island using my digital simulation next week. I used to have them stop at different stations in my room, but...you know...social distancing. Thanks to @historysandoval for the inspiration. Fingers-crossed it goes well!
@historicalnewby@historysandoval Here is a link to the Google Doc they filled in for their travel log, though you could certainly do it on paper too! https://t.co/orOVhvlf9x
Another great discussion tonight on how to move educators and leaders through professional learning! Now, just adding the finishing touches to my portfolio can wait to share and exchange stories on Monday #AspiringSBTS
When coaching adult learners, it is better to SHOW than TELL- model how tech can take things off of teacher’s plates instead of adding to them. #AspiringSBTS
My google drive is my prized teaching possession
Over 125 blank maps of the world/ countries/ continents etc.

Working on writing DBQs in AP World and students really seemed to like these document placards so they could sort and group documents to help them organize their claims.
