Glad to hear that Keir Starmer has said that he will not back down. If there is a leadership challenge, as @AndyBurnhamGM suggested tonight on #bbcqt, he will fight. Go Keir Starmer , there are many #labourpartymembers supporting you! #newsnight
@NadineDorries In Makerfield a vote for Reform is a vote for an ignorant and sexist misogynist who pretends that comments were 15 years ago when they were indeed far less and refuses to apologise or be accountable.
This whole "he's a normal bloke" line Reform are using for the Makerfield by-election is just a slogan to hide the fact they're putting unqualified, inexperienced people into serious jobs.
I don't want to be represented by "normal." I want someone qualified and experienced.
"Keir's always proven his critics wrong. When he became Labour leader people said 'you're never gonna turn this party around so it's electable within 3 election cycles', yet we had the victory in 2024. No-one ever got rich betting against Keir Starmer." https://t.co/XXljAS7PsD
NEW: Keir Starmer will “not walk away” from Downing Street, after Andy Burnham confirms he’d challenge him if he makes it back to Westminster.
“The country expects us to focus on governing and to deliver change for hardworking people, not get distracted by Westminster debates,” No 10 says.
“The Labour party has a process for challenging a leader and it has not been triggered. The Prime Minister will not walk away from the mandate he was given just two years ago to build a stronger, fairer Britain.”
”Last year almost 500 000 Russian tourists were let into Europe, while Ukrainians were dying on the battlefield. This situation needs to be stopped.
That is why we, together with 10 other Member States, have put forward an initiative for new EU visa restrictions for Russian citizens.” @JohanForssell at JHA
The World Cup starts next week, so expect Reform politicians to suddenly become England’s biggest fans.
The irony? Some of the players they’ll be cheering for might never have been here under Reform’s policies.
Foreign money funding Reform UK.
Another 7m from two overseas British crypto billionaires - £4m from Hong Kong-based billionaire, £3m from Thailand.
Tax exiles shaping UK politics. What have they been promised?
Must ban political donations.

I am a British Sikh MP.
Like you, I was horrified by Henry Nowak’s death. I utterly condemn his murderer.
Like you, I have been moved by the grace of his family.
Like you, I was appalled by Farage and Robinson seeking to divide us in anger.
From here, there are two paths that our country can take.
The first path is embodied by Farage and Robinson. They seek to pit White Brits against non-White Brits. Through crypto-funded, tech-fuelled hate, they try to drive a wedge through our communities.
The second is embodied by Henry Nowak’s father, Mark. A path of national unity and grace. Our nation stood together as one people to defeat fascism, and today our different communities come together to mourn Henry Nowak.
The path we choose will define us as a nation. I choose the path that is true to our historic values summed up by this eternal truth:
Together we will meet this moment, divided we won’t.

Because Darren he was arrested at the time, it is most likely his extensive list of previous convictions meant bail was not really an option and he pleaded guilty.
If this "angry fella" as you describe him and who no doubt from the nature of his convictions has spent his life being a pain to everybody around him, deserves anything else then let me know.
If he is a "patriot" who believes he represents me then no thanks I'll defend myself.
I am fairly confident he wouldn't give a toss about anyone else's misery and was only too pleased to attack cops who mostly it seems anyway, have spent time keeping the public safe from him.
The court was told that Frost had 25 convictions, including public disorder offences, possession of a bladed article and threatening and abusive behaviour.
@darrengrimes It’s really not that much of a struggle, he pleaded guilty to, violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He’s been remanded in custody pending sentencing.
