@0xPrajwal_ There are significantly more web developers than people working on kernels, dbs, compilers, etc.
You hear more from web devs about any code related thing than out groups.
SSH gives you access to a remote box. But agentic dev needs something higher level, a shared session between humans and agents. Files, diffs, terminals, logs, ports, approvals, checkpoints, handoffs. Thinking we call it WSP, Workspace Session Protocol.
Streaming and streamers are a net negative for society.
No hate to those trying to make a living, but the sort of society that created it and continues to let it thrive is one that is in decline.
@ThePrimeagen I'd say it saves me 3-4 hours per week.
There's probably some wasted time I'm not considering either.
It's kind of a mess to honestly self reflect on it tbh, there's so much noise to dig through.
@tanujDE3180@HexVoyager Your takes on this in this one thread are all over the place. Seems like soft agreeing on everything. What do you genuinely think about this lol

@signulll In my opinion, an important thing here is you should present new ideas to people, debate, etc. But for their mind to change, that is their choice and journey on it's own.
This all looks cool but google just abandoning everything has me anxious to use it. Even antigravity was abandoned some time back and it was rough to use.
Introducing Antigravity 2.0, a new standalone desktop application that delivers fully on that original glimpse of a truly agent-optimized experience.
Rebuilt from the ground up with multi-agent teams, scheduled tasks, native voice and one-click integration with other Google products.

@bencasnocha@ericschmidt The marketing in ai esp by the likes of the anthropic CEO has been the jobs you studied for and degrees you paid an arm and a leg for won't exist, why would anyone in their right mind cheer for that? Lol
Seems the era of energetic conversations about the beauty of code are over (or perhaps paused). I think that is the part I enjoyed more than anything tbh.
Maybe it’s the Gen-Z in me, but i fully don’t care about privacy. I am post-privacy. I am giving OpenAI access to all of my finances, all of my health data, everything, I don’t care anymore
@ChatGPTapp I love using codex for coding projects and in isolated envs, but giving it access to every aspect of my life is a bullet i haven't been able to bite. Curious for folks who don't care, why not?
