I saw #TheLoveHypothesisMovie a few weeks ago, and I absolutely LOVED it! As someone who read the fic when it was updating and then the book as an ARC, I can safely say this is a truly perfect adaptation of the story! Tom Bateman and Lili Reinhart have such compelling screen presence, and their chemistry is delicious. I love how beautifully awkward Adam and Olive are; it brought me so much joy to watch. 😍
For what it’s worth, he’s why we think Dave Filoni was coy about THE HUNT FOR BEN SOLO on #D23 and why we think the movie will be made (although not in the way people think)….
Simon Kinberg’s upcoming trilogy went into development after the New Jedi Order movie starring Daisy Ridley and Shawn Levy’s Starfighter went into development. However, based on comments made by Kathleen Kennedy and a recent social media post by Kinberg, it seems his new “saga” movies are further along in development and more of a priority than New Jedi Order, which has been very quiet in recent years.
The next Star Wars movie is Starfighter, which takes place 5 years after The Rise of Skywalker and would serve as the perfect bridge to Kinberg’s saga, heavily rumored to be Episodes X-XII.
If we were predicting the future of these projects, we’d say that characters and plot threads from New Jedi Order and The Hunt for Ben Solo will be woven in Kinberg’s Episodes X-XII. This would mean that, although New Jedi Order and The Hunt for Ben Solo would ultimately not be made and released as initially conceived, we’d still get the next chapter of Rey and Kylo Ren’s story.
Looking ahead even further, we predict that Episodes X-XII will be officially announced at Star Wars Celebration 2027. What better way to commemorate the 50th anniversary of George Lucas’ original film than announcing a continuation of the main saga at a celebration full of the most passionate Star Wars fans in the world.
Between data scraping and invasive AI, Google is not a safe place to host anything, especially your writing. “Opt-out” measures increasingly function like lip service rather than real protections for users.

I’m trying Ellipsus for my recent fanfic. There is Ao3 integration. There is spell check and grammar check. Everything gdocs offered and more. Recommend 100%. Oh and the UI is amazing. If you don’t like ai, 100% make the switch.
AI verifiers are no friends to writers. They were built from the same stolen work as every other generative AI model out there… and the damage to authors is REAL. A beefy 🧵👇
This time last year, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said that releasing movies in theaters was "an outmoded idea for most people" and that consumers wanted "to watch movies at home."
Today, movie theaters have scored their biggest weekend of all time at the global box office.
I don’t know how I missed this 6 days ago! Show this one some love too!!

A judge has ordered a temporary halt to the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger:
• A state coalition argued the merger would violate federal antitrust law, leading to higher prices and fewer movies and TV shows
• If the deal has not closed by Sept. 30, Paramount will start to owe millions of dollars a day to Warner Bros. investors

The Writers Guild of America has now filed a lawsuit to block the Paramount & Warner Bros merger.
“With fewer competitors, a merged Paramount/WB entity would have both the incentive & ability to lower costs by suppressing writers’ wages & reducing output.”
