It is December in Wicklow:
Alders dripping, birches
Inheriting the last light,
The ash tree cold to look at.
A comet that was lost
Should be visible at sunset,
Those million tons of light
Like a glimmer of haws and rose-hips,
And I sometimes see a falling star.
I used this with HL 5th Years today. Was inspired by @Aoifecork67 to let students bring a pre-corrected plan into their #SingleText assessment (great idea btw!) They used this sheet to self-assess their work in the next class and said it was helpful. Also makes correcting easier!
Some visual literacy and predictive work with @Kingswoodcc16 5th years. We prepared the vocabulary by looking at movie poster samples before moving onto Hamlet artwork 💀👑🎭 as inspired by @Mr_PHuff
