Thank you @Dunraven_School for sharing part of my Grandfather’s story with your students. He would be honoured. This was his wedding day. Sadly it’s bittersweet, as tomorrow, we lay him to rest
@missjajohnson I'm also glad you weren't deterred. The students needed you then and even more now. You're amazing and bring so much to the classroom and school environment!!!
@NataschaRob1 @maternityCPD @MrsMooney_18 @PregnantScrewed This is so sad to hear. Put in writing that you intend to express. The should then find you somewhere to do so, and in many cases find/provide you a fridge space (although I walked with a picnic bag and ice packs). Hope you get something sorted.
@MrsMooney_18 @maternityCPD @PregnantScrewed I returned full time June'19 (LO was 8mon) and got 1 allocated hour to pump between 11 and 1, a meeting room booked and signs made to pump. BF until LO was 2
@DramaHolding@LoveRee__ Not even. What's worse is it's not who you'd think. There's more than one of those characters 😔 but I ate my soup in peace after excusing myself from the nonsense of his request. I'm sure you don't miss such
Can anyone explain how a #SecondLockdown without closing the schools, colleges & universities will reduce COVID?
What about the health of all the education staff who have to mix with 100s of households a day?
Seeing the excellence of this young man has brought me to tears of joy and given myself and colleagues the motivation to get through the day. @iam5hina thank you for your greatness and example
Here is a short video about my experiences of being a Barrister, it is about my pride is being raised in Hackney, the rich cultures I was surrounded by, and the love for the people who have supported me.
@missboothman firstly I hope you get your speakers. Have you taken the #BlackHistoryMonth celebrations on yourself, or has it been pushed collectively by #SLT for departments to focus on?
@thtexpatteacher It's for this reason I appreciate you/ all Primary staff and give thank I teach Y10 upwards. When I've been attached to Y7s for Pastoral duties, I frequently consider dropping the extra responsibility🤣 its a different world
I'm ready to type the email, as well as approach different facilities to get them to prepare content (for physical lessons or remote) beyond what's in their curriculum outline, but should I have to do this for it to be "a thing" after the past few months? 👀
