“You were stupid for picking nursing as a career” - my little cousin
His words couldn’t be more true 😂 don’t get me wrong I LOVE what I do. Just not how abused and uncompensated we are.
I’ve only been a nurse for 3 months but if there’s anything I’ve learned it’s that nurses are strong, resilient, caring people who deserve more than pizza on nurses week. Take a second to thank your nurses! You have no idea what they go through each day.
I think the US is ready for its first nurse group owned hospital. Physicians posse up and do it all the time. And the truth is hospitals are only able to exist because of 24/7 365 nursing care. Stay tuned...
I hate how people are saying thanksgiving is “cancelled”. You can still celebrate with your family, you can still give thanks that you’re healthy and that your family is healthy. People are forgetting what thanksgiving is all about.
Woke up at 4 am for a commute to clinical.... got back at 930 pm. And doing it all over again tomorrow 😭😭😭 now I know why nurses don’t wanna commute more than 30 min
