I understand better now why it's called the good 'fight' of faith... There will be a battle in the mind - whether to trust logic (and thus be fearful) or to trust the God of the impossible.
"Certain as the rivers reach the sea, certain as the sunrise in the east, I can rest... In Your faithfulness...
Surer than a mother's tender love, surer than the stars still shine above, I can rest in Your faithfulness."

Sacrifice and responsibility - go hand in hand.
When you feel responsible for someone, you will sacrifice for them. Sacrifice your time, your energy, your comfort, and if the occasion calls for it- even your sleep.
To me, THAT is love.
Talking responsibility is hard. But it is better than finding fault and putting the blame on somebody/something else. If something needs to change/be done in your circumstance in life- change it/do it. Stop waiting for someone else to make a difference.
And yet, it's in that uncertainty that I developed a walk with God. It was in that fear that I found His assurance. It was in that tension that I felt His peace.
For 22 years, I did it, and there's a dull ache everytime I go over those memories. I remember the fear, uncertainty, feeling my heart pound out of my chest, the inability to concentrate etc.. All wrapped in a respite of approximately 4 months, before it started all over again.
JESUS reached out and touched the untouchables... The rejects of society... The ones who were considered unclean and contagious. No gloves on, nothing. He touched them... He longs to reach out and touch us too... If only we'd go to Him.
We get temptation attacks when we are weak - not when we are strong. The next time you are weak, be on your guard. Examples of weak moments: when hungry, hormonal, sleepless, hurt, sick etc...
So the "I will resist next time", is a false notion. Next time you're not any stronger.
Learn, in silence and submission to God and authority He has placed over you. Look for ways to be a blessing... Be made the supply for whatever the need is. Most importantly remember... Apart from the Spirit, we can do nothing.
Just because your story wasn't full of twists and turns, doesn't mean that somebody else's story is dramatic! We are all different and needed what we needed to grow. Stop comparing.
Be careful. Don't set your fears on fire with imagination and burn everybody around. Bring your fears to God. He says, "fear not".
When God is for you, what on earth could ever come against you!? So teach your troubled heart to trust and find rest in God's love for you.
The next time u think, "I'm bored!",ask urself if u've fulfilled all the roles u've been blessed with. To name a few: u have a role as a child of God,as a spouse,a son/daughter,a sibling, a friend,a student,a professional,a pet owner...The list goes on. There's no time 4 boredom!
