New teaching-related books I've read this summer and recommend: "Hacking School Discipline" - Nathan Maynard and Brad Weinstein; "Classroom Management for Art, Music and PE Teachers" - Michael Linsin (as a "specials" teacher, this was great info/reminders); and finally - 1/2
Teaching-related books I've reread this summer: "The Classroom Management Book" - Harry and Rosemary Wong; "For White Folks Who Teach in the Hood" - Christopher Emdin; " and "Teach Like a Pirate" - Dave Burgess. All highly recommended.

Reminded of this day (that's me with the great Pernell Allen presenting on Swift Playgrounds with some GREATS in the audience - the mayor, Civil Rights heroes, leaders, even a certain Apple CEO) and the absolute blessing #EdFarm has been for me, my students, and Birmingham.
