It's with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of retired Police Service Dog (PSD) Scout.
Scout served with unwavering bravery and dedication, always ready to protect and serve #HamOnt. His contributions to our community and his spirit of service will forever be remembered. PSD Troy while serving with the @HamiltonPolice was given a command to apprehend a suspect. PSD Troy engaged the suspect and the suspect fired the gun, striking Troy.

This month, we celebrate the bravery of young Black Canadians who served in the Canadian Army during WWI and WWII and we're honouring those who are still serving today and make us proud.
Today we celebrate the life of Mounted Unit Horse Argyll.
Argyll joined the Mounted Unit in May 2020. He was a 7-year-old Percheron Cross named after The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.
Argyll passed following an accidental injury on July 5.
We will remember him.
