@sgthomas1973 @The_Drama_Coach @tomwhitby Absolutely! We should not expect students to master all skills right away. It takes time to reach mastery, which is why multiple assessments and opportunities to show learning are so important.
@danacoledares@HarveyAlvy1 I totally agree with this! Both formative/summative assessments allow us to see what students have learned at that time and gives us accurate, real time information for next steps to take as teachers to further their learning even more. #edchat
@ShiftParadigm No assessment is perfect, so even students with excellent knowledge of the material may run into questions that trip them up, especially if they get nervous under pressure. As a result, summative assessment is not always the most accurate reflection of learning #edchat
