I'm so excited to share the cover of my forthcoming chapbook, Hemicrania, with so much gratitude to @ChestnutReview, especially @mspicone and Sheila Gomes for this gorgeous cover with images from my MRI that she painstakingly converted to create the artwork. 💛💛💛
So excited to share these poems by the talented Alvin Kathembe, whose poem "Crossing" will be published in @ChestnutReview later this month! It was a pleasure to work with Alvin as poetry editor and for editorial feedback on his poems.

@erinmharris Yes! Most lit mags *will* give a form response, which is why it's a "little" easier than job apps, but I don't like throwing work into submitting limbo so if places say they only notify of success/use that language, or if Duotrope/Chill Subs says they don't often reply, I skip
@erinmharris I use Airtable personally, but I also track all my subs on Duotrope. Airtable holds my notes, like how many times I've submitted a piece, whether it was nominated for awards etc, when/if it's been sig revised. Duotrope tracks sub response times
@erinmharris Lit mag contests, can be one genre or multiple - you normally pay a larger fee to submit, and pieces are shortlisted and sent to the contest judge (usually someone famous) who selects winners/finalists (sometimes 1st, 2nd 3rd place etc). $$ and prestige, but more $ to submit
This innovative & lyrical narrative follows Asia, a Korean girl who becomes a hybrid spacecraft and goes to live among the ghost men and their culture of destructive capitalism in space. Congrats to Lit Fest alum @mspicone for publishing THIS TENUOUS ATMOSPHERE with @coniumreview
