Thanks in advance!
I'm a first grade teacher and my school is having career week on the 25th. My students came up with questions and need video response answers from various careers for a website I made https://t.co/xSAwXKBUvS
If you can help, please let me know!
A question I ask when using assessments online - is it touchscreen friendly? My students' chromebooks are touchscreen and most of them don't know how to use the mouse #parkedtech
I love using Google Forms to assess my students. Now you can add pictures/videos/etc. Since they're first graders, I usually have a group of 3 or 4 students at a table and I'll read them the questions, adding pictures makes it easy. #parkedtech
I'm going to try using hyperdocs for my students to explore websites and tools and then come together to share their learning. Here's an article about some great things to do with hyperdocs #parkedchat

Keeping a growth mindset is hard sometimes, I'm going to make a Growth Mindset anchor chart for my classroom so both myself and my students can refer to it throughout the year #parkedchat https://t.co/Ky1IpiXWVY
This is a great checklist! I love inviting people into my classroom! We tied our asking questions unit into career week and here's the website I made with all the responses https://t.co/9q6RFrAwy6 https://t.co/2mHmU1LHxH
A Checklist For 21st Century Teachers @teachthought https://t.co/lctr3HWXF6 If I understand what is expected of me as 21st Century Teacher, then maybe I can make learning more relevant to students. This article helped me understand what I could do. #ParkEdTech
@kcsunshine1203 We do a writing unit based entirely on an object students bring in - it's the only time I allow toys and they are so excited to share with their friends and can write pages about their things! #parkedtech
@kcsunshine1203@msrod16 I'm going to start using flexible seating next year with my 30 first graders because we literally don't have enough chairs, I'm super inspired by this video!
I love this! They're all great teaching that sometimes we forget about at the beginning because there's so much other stuff! #parkedtech https://t.co/LGZyUq3WWD
@Matt92832750 Definitely! My favorite units are the ones I'm personally interested in - I do more research, spend more time on lessons, and as a result my students are equally engaged. They can sense your excitement! #parkedtech
@Matt92832750 I agree! When students have choice in how they create/show their learning, they tend to be more engaged. When they feel like they have no choices, they choose to be obstinate. #parkedtech
@msrod16 @Matt92832750 I use visuals even when I'm in PD and writing on anchor charts! It helps break up the monotony of words so you can easily see something and remember what goes with it! A picture is worth a thousand words :)
I'm going to show this infographic to my team when we come back to remind them why it's important to add pictures to their anchor charts and refer to them often! #ParkEdTech
