Today, we celebrated a landmark event in Rumpke's history. We held a ribbon cutting ceremony for our newly opened headquarters in Cincinnati, OH. The cutting of the ribbon was followed by building tours and a catered lunch for all in attendance. The future looks bright!
It's National Surveyors Week and we're honoring one of our founders, Joseph Earnshaw, who was Cincinnati's City Surveyor in 1858. His surveys of the city are some of the earliest surviving survey records of Cincinnati. Below: Joseph Earnshaw's monument at Spring Grove Cemetery

In honor of Presidents' Day, here's a look at the original 1887 survey for Washington Park by the Joseph Earnshaw Engineering Company (predecessor to McGill Smith Punshon). From 1855-1863, the Over-the-Rhine property served as a cemetery.
