Good evening, @RideRTD ! If you’re closing the downward stairs at Union Station Chestnut Pavilion, you probably want similar barriers at the top of the stairs.

My non-Native immigrant descendant friends, allies and supporters are absolutely amazing.
I wish every single one of you a blessed and beautiful new year.
MAGA: “Be quiet. I’m 4th generation German American.”
Me: “I’m 4,444th generation Indigenous American. Perhaps you’re the one who should be quiet.”
— crickets 🤫
Hospital staff: “We don’t like patient’s wheelchairs to be at bedside. You can call us if you need it.”
Me: “That’s not happening. My wheelchair stays put.”
A wheelchair should not be on call.
It must be in sight and in reach of the wheelchair user at all times.

Good morning, @RideRTD ! I presume the street supervisor at MLK eastbound and Dahlia didn’t talk to my driver because they were entering the all-clear notification concerning this alert - which hadn’t seemed to affect sections shared with northbound routes 65 and 73?
@adamfare1996 Hilariously enough, using my phone makes it easier. I sometimes play a really shitty "escape room" game that has like 500 levels on my phone until I get tired. It's the "thinking just enough to force focus, but not require TOO much thinking" that seems to help.
@adamfare1996 This is nice to hear because none of that stuff has ever made a difference in my insomnia and it’s exhausting constantly hearing I’m to blame for my inability to sleep due to not doing things that I know don’t work for me (because I already tried).
@adamfare1996 If I'm sleeping alone, it's hard to describe how essential it is that there's a screen nearby playing some form of entertainment (preferably something I've seen before and can ignore).
I've tried the whole "no screens, no caffeine" stuff. It's always been counterproductive.
@adamfare1996 Oh I hate ‘sleep hygiene’ 😒 I do not sleep well but it doesn’t matter what I do to try and improve it I make it worse. People claiming just put your phone down and no tv, and then I lay there with my brain racing.
Yeah no kidding. I'm positive I've had ADHD since childhood and it really affected my insomnia but since my parents were old school and didn't fall for this "new age mental health" bullshit I wasn't diagnosed until I was fucking 40. I love my parents but goddamn I'd love to have the 30 years of undiagnosed ADHD back.
