@saraelysee I hope I see a time when this is normalized. I gave up drinking when I was diagnosed with cancer at 36. After reading the stats on alcohol and cancer it was a no brain. I’m about to ruin their time if they pressure for answers.

@DisabledDoctor I had an ovary torsion and was puking from the pain. They refused to do anything until I peed for a pregnancy test. The cyst was blocking my ability to pee. That was almost 10 years ago. I’ve never been with a man so no way I was pregnant. Same thing going through chemo at 36.

@Skippy1405 @MizBlueBalls @CaitJGibson @rivbutcher I had my insurance dent my genetic testing after a cancer diagnosis, but I appealed and got them to pay for the testing. It was coded incorrectly by the hospital.

@CaitJGibson So sorry you lost your friend to cancer. I was able to get my first colonoscopy at 23 without any issues. It’s sad to see that doctors aren’t all the same with screening. This was also almost 17 years ago. If your doctor is not listening go to someone else that will advocate too

@JPBrown5 This has been my experience with mental health professionals. My ex being one of them. Hopefully she stays away from practicing. I was diagnosed with cancer 6 months after that break up and that’s when I really started to see it with those meant to help us.

I had about 10 days to process and decided to forgive her as her treatment was failing. She passed august 17th. I have peace

@saylahachey Both of mine were offered to me and I accepted. They have been what I needed. Foxy the little one has been with me 12 years. Tazhi has been with me almost 10 years. They were both a year and half old when they came to be mine.

@stuboo Make sure your staff is educated on young adult cancer survivors. My nurse told me during my annual I was too young for cancer. It’s not a compliment to hear that. People get cancer at all ages please act like it if you’re in the medical profession.
