TVDSB intermediate friends, I will not be organizing the pumpkin time bomb data this year. If someone wants to take on the form and spreadsheet data that would be awesome for those that still want to participate! The lesson files can be found here: https://t.co/MgZ7JlBNGl
A great few days with Mr. McLellan’s 7/8s using coding to approach pattern relationships. Today was all about loops in music. Tomorrow we make input output machines. 🙂
Thankful for this PLN and the help to debug. Looking to hit coding expectations through patterning? Here’s the lesson that aligns with From Patterns to Algebra and the input/output game. https://t.co/Q4MKJjwIdd
Hoping someone can help debug my @microbit_edu code. Trying to create an input/output machine with a constant and multiplier rule. My code works with just a multiplier, but as soon as I add a constant the output numbers are wonky. What am I doing wrong? https://t.co/DQubFDljAt
Using @Desmos graphing calculator for plotting ordered pairs. Plotting using technology is low stakes and yields perseverance and problem solving. We started with our names, but some students got creative! Great work 7/8s. @BonaventurePS
It was great to work with @msclark_56 in an amazing class @cc_carrothers the past few days. The excitement and energy towards coding was contagious. Thanks for having me. 🥰
Our learning @cc_carrothers connects to #CSEdWeek while we talk about energy, sustainability and growing cities! Always love introducing a class to @microbit_edu thanks for co-teaching @MsRChanner it’s amazing when kids see context in coding and work right to the bell!

First SPIKE build day with @LEGO_Group@CCCarrothersPS. Some groups figured out independently how to code their motors and make their robot move! Great work. @msclark_56
The power of storytelling to introduce a task. I also got to bring my rock collection to school!! I’ve got 16 rocks and I want to show them off in 4 stations. How can you organize my stations so there are no repeating numbers?@msclark_56@CCCarrothersPS@pgliljedahl
