There are stories you cannot believe in until you begin to live them yourself. Stories that take your breath away and send tears of happiness running down your cheeks on their own. Mine is exactly one of those stories.

January 30th, Moscow, the premiere of #RüzgaraBırak That was the first time I saw Hande. Crossed glances, a light touch, a long-awaited meeting with my idol… Who could have imagined that, in that very second, a true miracle would enter my life?

I stayed silent for a long time. I waited for the perfect moment. And then finally it arrived.

After that meeting, I went into remission. After 10 years of illness, I began to live again. You cannot imagine how happy I became. And all of this happened because of Hande Erçel, because of her light, her kindness, her presence in my life. It is a miracle I still struggle to fully believe.

I dreamed of thanking her. I wanted her to know that her smile, her attention, that one single meeting gave me hope, strength, and faith in better days. When I learned that she was coming to Moscow again, I decided: I will do everything, but I will give her my letter.

A letter filled with gratitude from me and from my family. I knew I had to hand it to her myself.

I also managed to record two videos 😭🤍 In both, Hande blows an air kiss: one right after the premiere, the other at the airport. Every time I watch them, tears come to my eyes again. Because now I know: a miracle has touched my life once more✨

I felt a connection with my idol that I had dreamed of for five years. And I will never forget the goodness Hande brought into my life! I will be grateful to her every day! Every year! Always!

And I believe this is not our last meeting. That one day I will be able to hug her and say once again:
Thank you so much! Thank you for everything, Hande! I am so happy to be your fan! I am proud that you are my idol!

Hande, I don’t know if you will ever see this post. But if you do — know this: thank you for stopping, for accepting my letter, and for reacting so sweetly in the videos I captured, which will always warm my heart.
