@JHazlewoodCBC My students reflecting on our Remembrance Day ceremony and asking why adults would fight like that. Great question. They are our future!!
Often times, the brightest rainbows follow the darkest rain. This school year definitely had its challenges but we found the silver lining and made the most of it! And now a rainbow on the eve of our final week together as I reflect on the beautiful memories of this year 🌈💕
In light of what is happening in the world, I read this poem with my students & asked them questions about diversity. This is what one of my students had to say: “The crayons didn’t see how unique they were and the masterpiece they could make altogether.” 💕#ifchildrenrantheworld
I read a funny story about my bitmoji unintentionally playing hide and seek. I love that I'm getting my daily exercise with my students while I'm sitting at my computer 😆 It is so nice to stop and smell the 🌷 and check out that amazing fort!!! 🏰 Keep sending me smiles friends!
LOVING all of the adventures my amazing students are taking me on. Thank you for taking me on walks, bike rides, playing games, doing crafts and inviting me to important stuffy meetings and tea parties! I miss you so much, but these photos make me feel like we are together 😊💗
Telly is making a blanket fort because it helps him feel comfortable and safe - he calls it his comFORT! Grab some blankets and join Telly for this fun activity at home. #CaringForEachOther
Check out this interesting article that was dug up from the Stanley Jones archives! Quarantine is not a new idea after all. There’s a shout out to SJ for being used as a hospital during the Spanish Flu! Hopefully it won’t come to that for Covid! #staysafe
Wouldn’t this be fun?? What a great way to show our gratitude to our community members!! I will add this as an optional activity in our Google Classroom this week!
I’ve been working hard setting up a google classroom for my wonderful 1/2s! Hopefully all of my students have been able to log into their google mail, I will be sending a link to join our virtual classroom Monday morning!
These are unprecedented times friends. Let’s do our part to flatten the curve. Going to miss seeing my student’s smiling faces this week. Stay home, stay safe, stay healthy ❤️
Working with a classmate to write an estimystery. I overheard some great conversations such as “what do you think?” “What do we know about our number?” Great teamwork!
