Since the WNBA's inaugural season in 1997, Angel Reese is 1 of 4 basketball players (including NBA) with 50+ double-doubles in her first 75 games, and one away from tying Blake Griffin for the most in that span, regardless of league 😤
Angel Reese has been solid through the first 10 games of the season, and tomorrow she'll face her former team for the first time as the Atlanta Dream take on the Chicago Sky.
Reese was selected by Chicago with the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She joined a Sky team that was entering a rebuilding era after sneaking into the playoffs as the eighth and final seed in 2023. By the time Reese arrived, three of Chicago’s top five scorers from the previous season—Courtney Williams, Kahleah Copper, and Alanna Smith—had already moved on, while Marina Mabrey, another top-five scorer, was traded during the season.
Even with all the roster turnover, Reese wasted little time making history. During her time with the Sky, she set multiple records, including the highest single-season rebounding average in WNBA history, the longest consecutive double-double streak, and becoming the fastest frontcourt player to record a triple-double.
She also earned two All-Star selections and last season was one of only two players, alongside Breanna Stewart, to finish among the league’s top 25 in all five main statistical categories.
Now with Atlanta, Reese is continuing that production. She is one of just three players averaging a double-double, leads the league in rebounds, ranks among the league leaders in steals+blocks per game, and is just outside the top 25 in assists per game. She’s also coming off one of her best performances of the season, finishing with 18 points, 17 rebounds, and four steals in just 24 minutes during a win over Washington. The Dream are (4-0) this season when Angel scores at least 15 points.
Tomorrow’s game will mark the first meeting between Reese and the franchise where her WNBA career began. Can she help lead the Dream to their eighth win of the season? We’ll find out soon enough. 🪄
This is why I can’t stand Caitlin Clark fans.
Caitlin was horrific tonight.
She had 14 points and 5 turnovers.
She choked on free throws.
She was well on her way to being the CAUSE of the Fever losing for the 6th time in 11 games.
Stephanie White drew up a great play.
Cotie McMahon made a stupid gamble.
Caitlin lucked into a wide open 3 to take her up to 17.
Clap. Clap.
She had 10 in the 1st quarter…..and 4 for the rest of the game to go with 5 turnovers before that lucky 3.
You were about to go into hiding as you ALWAYS do after EVERY terrible game….when you were bailed out by a lucky three.
Please don’t pop out talking trash after that. Stop it. 😂

What will New Orleans' record be? 🤔
Following Atlanta Dream’s shootaround this morning, I asked Angel Reese about getting to see Indiana’s Raven Johnson:
“We talk probably once a week. Her mom comes to the games and sits courtside with my mom. But it’s great to see her being able to adjust to the W so quickly.”

Trump completely lost it on Kristen Welker.
He said she was crooked, stupid and walked out of the interview!
I stand with Kristen Welker and all of the journalists Trump has attacked over the years.
Who is with me? ✋
How awkward….their girl can’t seem to get in a groove & the WNBA is broadcasting every single one of their games nationally so everyone can witness it 😩
Yall pick and choose who to attack. So many in them games lastnight missed shots and layups but yall focus on one player. That's why I don't pay yall no mind online cause this all yall have lmao yall hate AR but never speak up on other players. Just call it what it is man
