My favorite, simple way to make teaching digraphs multi-sensory! Once the drink mix is added, it can’t be separated just like the sounds in a digraph!

Today we welcomed back our staff for Year 6 at the Academy! Our building was full of energy and excitement for the new year and our new teaming structures. We took time to build new relationships and strengthen old ones through team building FUN! @appstate @AppstateRCOE

One way I’m encouraging my students to persevere is giving a “silent 2” where they have to try it before I guide them in any way. It’s really improved their independent thinking!
